We’re very excited to share that we have three fantastic records which will be widely available this November. Originally released on Friday, July 13th, for Barnes & Noble’s Vinyl Weekend, all three albums were previously available in limited quantities on color vinyl, exclusively at Barnes & Noble. Now each release will be available everywhere records are sold!

Dave Brubeck, Time In – November 2nd, 2018

Time In is the last release of Dave Brubeck’s ‘Time’ series and is often referred to as one of the pianist’s most dynamic and adventurous records. Every composition of the of the set was written by Brubeck; two tunes of which were co-written with his wife, Lola. Ours is the first available pressing of the album since the 1960’s. The record was remastered for vinyl by Grammy Award-winning engineer Bernie Grundman and pressed on 180gram audiophile-grade vinyl at Pallas Group in Germany. Pre-order your copy here.

Shirley Horn, Softly – November 9th, 2018

Never before been pressed to vinyl, Shirley Horn’s Softly is reflective of the album’s late-night recording sessions at Peirre Sprey’s home recording studio in rural Maryland. With her sidemen Charles Ables (bass) and Steve Williams (percussion) gathered into a quaint, pastoral living room full of recording equipment, the trio tracked until dawn. The album was remastered for vinyl by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed on audiophile-grade vinyl at Pallas Group in Germany. Beginning November 12th, a black vinyl edition will be available everywhere, and a white color vinyl edition, limited to 300 copies, will be available exclusively at independent record stores. Pre-order the black vinyl here!

Les Paul & His Trio, After You’ve Gone – November 9th, 2018

Les Paul’s resume is hard to top. Paul was a self-taught guitarist, specializing in jazz, country, and blues. He was also a prominent songwriter, luthier, and inventor. After You’ve Gone features an impressive 28 songs recorded by Les Paul & His Trio between 1944-1945. The double LP was remastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed on vinyl for the first time ever at Pallas Group in Germany. A clear vinyl edition of the album, limited to 300 copies, will be available exclusively at independent record stores. The black vinyl pressing will be available everywhere records are sold, including our online store where you can pre-order your copy now!
