Jazzology: Baby Dodds Trio – Jazz A’La Creole

Vinyl releases from New Orleans-based Jazzology (The George H. Buck Jr. Jazz Foundation Family of Record Labels) are now being distributed internationally via ORG Music. We’re proud to announce our partnership with the label group, which includes iconic catalogs such as Audiophile Records, American Music Records, Circle Records, G.H.B. Records, and Progressive Records, among others.

Featuring some of the very first unaccompanied jazz drum solos ever recorded, as well as other historic New Orleans jazz recordings, Baby Dodds Trio “Jazz à la Creole” marks the first release in this partnership. The LP was pressed in the label’s hometown at New Orleans Record Press, on a beautiful transparent blue color vinyl. It will be widely available beginning Friday, July 27th. Pre-order a copy from Jazzology, or stop by your local indie record store on the 27th to grab a copy.
