Sun Records Releases Out Today

It’s a very Sun Records Friday! Beginning today, January 12th, you can pick up the two latest additions in our series of releases from the Sun Record Company Catalog.

Sun Records Does Hank Williams is a collection of Hank Williams’ hits performed by artists from the legendary Sun Record Company catalog. The compilation features superstars Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis, alongside a handful of lesser-known Sun Records artists. The album is available everywhere on black vinyl, including from our shop. A transparent yellow color vinyl edition is available exclusively at independent record stores.

On Sunday Down South, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis deliver a power-packed, one-of-a-kind package. The legends delve into their gospel roots and revisit the great standards, such as “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” and “Give Me That Old Time Religion,” as well as interpreting the New Orleans favorite “When the Saints Go Marching In.” The album is available now on white color vinyl, exclusively at Barnes & Noble. A black vinyl edition of the release will be available everywhere in May.
